Nidek Introduces Two New Lasers
Nidek's MC-300 Multicolor laser Photocoagulator System and its YC-1800 Ophthalmic YAG Laser System have been cleared for commercial release in the United States.
The MC-300, an advanced multi-color (red, yellow and green) diode-pumped solid state (DPSS) laser system, delivers three unique laser wavelengths: 659, 561 and 532 nm, and is ideal for retinal applications and disease treatments. With advanced SOLIC Technology, the MC-300 features digitally controlled instant duty cycles, allowing the laser to be used at rapid speeds and high powers for extended periods of time without failure and energy decay. With its slit-lamp mounting capability and standard electric current connection, the MC-300 offers retinal surgeons ad-vanced delivery capabilities and versatility for operating room and in-office use, says Nidek.
The YC-1800 YAG Laser combines innovative laser delivery and output technologies, improved operability, fast operation and adjustable Nd:YAG offset. The YC-1800 provides versatility for combination laser systems. For more information on the MC-300 and YC-1800 YAG lasers, call (510) 226-5700, ext. 803, or visit nidek.com.
