Two from Rhein
The Bohigian 19-ga. Anterior Chamber Maintainer with Handpiece (pictured) is available from Rhein Medical. The Maintainer (#8-14552) has a 35-degree bevel distal tip for easy insertion into a paracentesis. Rhein says this instrument provides ample flow when performing a bimanual procedure.
The Dell Astigmatism Marker (40, 60 and 80 degrees) is designed for marking a cornea for the placement of limbal relaxing incisions, corneal relaxing incisions and the proper orientation of toric IOLs. Rhein says the special low profile of the marker (#8-12111) facilitates its easy placement on the cornea while automatically creating guide marks. The rotating bezel aligns marks in the proper meridian, eliminating the possibility of incorrect axis placement, says Rhein. Call (813) 885-5050 or visit rheinmedical.com.
